Javier Goyeneche, fondatore e presidente della Ecoalf, mi racconta che l’approssimarsi della nascita del primo figlio l’ha fatto riflettere sul mondo che ospiterà il nascituro.

Interrogandosi sul suo futuro ha sperato che fosse un posto vivibile.

E non è quello che ci auguriamo anche noi?

Ha creduto che le energie rinnovabili e il riciclaggio sono basi indispensabili per la salvaguardia e migliore conservazione del pianeta.

Ha deciso allora di sfruttare il riciclaggio come arma per abbattere gli sprechi, creando tessuti, suole, stringhe, etichette, isolanti termici e federe con materiali riciclati al 100% da bottiglie di plastica, pneumatici, reti da pesca e cotone postindustriale.

Ed un intero staff si occupa di creare design di gran tendenza.

I prodotti finiti sono capi di abbigliamento, scarpe, zaini…

Dove la gente vede spazzatura ECOLAF vede potenziale. Materia prima capace di trasformarsi in nuovi prodotti con il massimo di qualità e design.

Javier Goyeneche, founder and president of Ecoalf, tells me that the approaching birth of his first child made him think about the world that his child will be born into.

So he decided to take advantage of recycling as a weapon to reduce waste, creating fabrics, soles, laces, labels, thermal insulation materials and pillowcases with 100% recycled from plastic bottles, tires, fishing nets, and post-industrial cotton.

And an entire staff that works on creating great design trends. The finished products are clothing, shoes, and backpacks…
